Rogue Recovery, led by Chris Dorval and Jeff Currier, meets at 10:00 Saturday mornings in fellowship hall (downstairs) at NSACC.

Rogue Recovery is a 12-Step fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from the disease of addiction. Our identification in this meeting is one of “In Recovery”, this is an all-inclusive meeting where substance of choice does not matter but our disease does. It is our belief that addiction is not substance specific, but is a disease of the mind that creates social, psychological, physical, and spiritual deficiency.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using. There are no dues or fees for membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. We are not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; do not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorse nor oppose any causes.

There is but one sovereign authority for our fellowship and that is a loving Higher Power that expresses itself to us in our own understanding. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help others to achieve sobriety.

The format of this group is a topic discussion, where the chair-person will pick a topic and share on it for approximately 10 minutes. From there the chairperson will pick the next speaker and that speaker will pick the next successive speaker and so on….

As this is a 12 STEP meeting about RECOVERY we ask that you share about recovery as it relates to the 12 steps. Also, sharing includes sharing the time, so we ask that you please limit your sharing to 5 minutes so that others can offer their experience strength and hope. To ensure a purity and clarity in our message those who deviate from these requests may be asked by the chairperson or other group members to end their sharing, so as not to confuse our life saving message. This is not intended to shame, censor, or embarrass anyone, but to instill an awareness among the speaker and protect the integrity of our group’s message.

God Bless
